Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Oblar's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: Oblar lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He is a Baker first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the east. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and wants to open a new tavern

He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 4'4" when asserting himself. His white hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a small hat. His gray eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Dalgal was born on a far northern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Ruler. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and to share knowledge with the world

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
