History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He now owns his own business.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Alston was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it
