History: Smoking was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Mason father left him crippled. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

In the process these unassuming Dwarves became a terror of the countryside. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
