When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: This man stands a little under 3'8" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his scimitar with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His golden hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His gray eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: Ribbles hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his singing career. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Hubert wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Adept, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Hubert was raised in a hard working conservative environment. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

History: He was born in a small forest village. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
