History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Tricking was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Tricking took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up monstrous two handed axe and armor he uses now. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: Barakas was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Weaver. He's also a talented Performer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He has never given up on his painting dream.
