Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: Naal was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Naal grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Naal. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
