Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Tethren was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Tethren's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
