Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Efferil embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A gifted student he started as a Soapmaker, but he got bored and became a Tanner. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Description: This tall, slender man wears silk and lounges about seductively. His black crest is kept up in a ponytail inside a feathered hat. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Being a Knight kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he usually wears his white robe and has his morningstar always slung over his shoulder. He wears a small hat to hide his balding. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this southern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He's also a talented Architect, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and money/treasure

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he is typically in his Mayor uniform. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy black hair. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep blue.

Personality: He is a Mayor first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Mayor. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Gnomish compassion; and wants to open a new tavern
