History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Elves in Arannis's homeland. Arannis decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Salasar's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
