History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Darrow alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Darrow was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the drow.
