Description: A middle-aged man, he tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look, and is pretty ugly. He has no hair. His eyes are gray and beady.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Shipwright arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His first spouse was a Beggar, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Anverth was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Shipwright and was forced into it by his family; and retire the richest man in the north

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame. His black hair, when down, is lengthy. His eyes are likewise green. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Tim embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and a deep hatred of orcs

Description: He wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his shortspear, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a rose on it. His auburn hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his gray eyes.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has worked as a Navigator like his mother before him.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Thorpe isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Halfling unity. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and to share knowledge with the world
