History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Balam grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Balam abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the west were limited. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. He has a brown handlebar mustache and slicked back brown hair. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Rael is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the east. At a young age his mother died while driving off some giants. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in scimitar use. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Rael fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
