Motivation: He would like to get married and retire; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

His father taught him the rudiments of the Herbalist arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance.
