Personality: Bernard is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Bernard was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the west were limited. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he loathes his own lifestyle

Description: He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. His hair, while still mostly purple, has prominent grey streaks. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Leucis was born the youngest of three triplets. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sword.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers.

Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'8" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His violet unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Trym isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Half-Elven unity. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Trym lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When Trym reached his early adolescence his Half-Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. At a young age his father died while driving off some illithids. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in shortbow use. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Zâthra fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away.
