Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Hobart embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. After a long history of fighting, Hobart and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing poetry.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
