Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized yellow coat, and is pretty ugly. His hair, while still mostly silver, has prominent grey streaks. His white eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Sammal and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. He wears his silver hair up. He has several tiny sapphire earrings on each ear.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Unemployed profession.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Soapmaker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Soapmaker work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He's also a talented Unemployed, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Elven companion (his 'brother'). He then took over the family business and is one of the better Marshal for hire.

Description: A 3'8" western man, he wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt. His white hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His eyes are violet and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Born in the west to a Scribe, Sindri learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. Recently the stress of being a Scribe has made it difficult for him to sleep.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.
