Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Astar has worked very hard to control his curse. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: This late middle aged man likes to wear white tank tops with black pants and is in decent physical shape. His silver hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His skin is flawless and his amber eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Gifted from a young age, Hupe studied abroad. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and obtaining odd cultural halfling artifacts is his passion

Description: An older man who is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured, he is not a threatening figure. His moppish black hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by goblins in a raid when he was still a young child. The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and someone believes him a fraud
