History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Heward grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.
