Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Joser embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. The war was a terrible time for him, and Joser does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Moon is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He works hard and plays hard.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and to reunite with his absent mother

History: He was born in a small forest village. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Detective. He's also a talented Bricklayer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and wants to open a new tavern
