History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Burto grew up listening to his father's many stories. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Burto took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up dagger and armor he uses now. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Valafar has worked very hard to control his curse. After a long history of fighting, Valafar and his spouse have recently divorced.
