Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting goblins, the young Fax began to lead the lost caravan. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shifting fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
