History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He found a children's book about a Dwarf Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Elaim was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright.
