History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions

Description: He wears a black vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His pastel leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his black boots flare out at the collars, and carries daggers. His cinnamon fur is still thick. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Tabaxi culture. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Farmer arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Burto embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. Burto was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Knight. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
