Personality: She is a Dyer first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ella grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She tends to her Dyer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.
