His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of orcs may trigger it at times.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. He worked as a nervous Beggar and found it very stressful. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Shane was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the orcs.

He keeps his blonde hair in a pixie cut. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: Bernard is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He works hard and plays hard.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Guard. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. Her parents were killed by giants in a raid when she was still a young child. The giants captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: A deep hatred of giants; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it
