Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and retire the richest man in the south

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: She was born in the east. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Born in the west to a Navigator, Cecily learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Navigator for the past few years.

Motivation: To be a Detective again; and balancing her hectic life and new navigator responsibilities is difficult
