Personality: She hates illithids. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She uses her nature as a weapon; she likes to lead opponents to think her in distress.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Elysande alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
