History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Ahlyssa was born on a far western island where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Bellfounder. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ahlyssa fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. In her 17th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: She comes from a rich western family. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
