History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Sarah was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Barkeep hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Mason they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Barkeep, and she later adopted a second daughter.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Emma alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. After a long history of fighting, Emma and her spouse have recently divorced.
