History: Joan lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. The family's rival house kidnapped her sister with the intent that her sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
