History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Bertram was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Sarah grew up listening to her father's many stories. When Sarah reached her early adolescence her Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions
