History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Reynard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.
