He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Nicholas was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Nicholas was born on a far western desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Bounty Hunter. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She worked as a nervous Servant and found it very stressful. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
