Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Dean is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He got into the Locksmith business at a young age. A freak accident while working with his Courier father left him crippled. He now owns his own business.

Personality: Emma speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She dropped out of school to support her sick mother, and resented it. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
