History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

The war was a terrible time for her, and Griselda does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Bellfounder they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Assassin, and she later adopted a second son.
