Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he is wearing a long, black, dusty cloak. His head has been shaved. His gray unseeing eyes seem to look past you.
Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Gerald will drive conversation. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.
History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

Description: She stands about 4'11" and wears a black vest with golden trim over her white shirt. Her yellow leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and her black boots flare out at the collars. Her left hand appears badly burned and disfigured. Her golden hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. She is baby faced.
Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.
History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. Being a Bellfounder kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things.

Description: A woman with a friendly, welcoming air about her, she is wearing a long, black, dusty cloak. Her long auburn hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. Her hazel eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.
Personality: She likes to make people angry or surprised. She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.
History: Ermina was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: To pay off her debts; and she's looking for her big break

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears a grey cloak and cross-gartered blue stockings, and a wedding ring on his left hand. His golden hair, when down, is lengthy. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are green.
Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.
History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Hugh never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and seeks redemption
