History: Born in the west to a Barrister, Nicholas learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He now owns his own business.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Aline embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Shipwright but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the east. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: She is dressed in an above average manner. She wears a wide-brimmed hat to hide her balding. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
