Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Blacksmith and occasionally as a mercenary.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire.

The war was a terrible time for him, and William does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Through the years after William was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. William's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
