Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Yvonne was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Avice fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
