History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Aline was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Painter.

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Eloise alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids.

Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt. He has shaved his head bald. His hazel eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Gilbert isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Gifted from a young age, Gilbert studied abroad. After coming to the age of reason, Gilbert took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gilbert fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: This southern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He is renowned for his bright yellow suits and hats. His chestnut hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His blue unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying south to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away.
