Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Crown-heir they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Shoemaker, and she later adopted a second son.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. Energy wise she seems alert and responsive.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Godfrey was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A freak accident while working with his Interpreter father left him crippled. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Map Maker for hire.

Personality: Jacoba speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of orcs once and for all.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Jacoba alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and she desires to right it; and nothing but the best is good enough for her
