History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She saw the violence of war and the aftermath so she converted to religion and dedicated herself to non-violence.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 11. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: Born in the north to a Guard, Miles learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Guard work with an outfit from a few towns over. Guard work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has worked as a Guard like his father before him.

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Fletcher. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Matilda grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Matilda. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Through the years after Justin was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Justin's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
