History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Jocelyn grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His first spouse was a Healer, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

History: Born to a Mortician, his father struggled to pay the bills. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Human culture. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Adelard never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
