History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting gnolls, the young Randal began to lead the lost caravan. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
