Emmeline took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up ceremonial dagger and armor she uses now. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Emmeline was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: Born in the east to a Barrister, Rosalind learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. In her 17th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Rosalind fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature rapier.

He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Baker.
