When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Geva fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. After a long history of fighting, Avelina and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found.
