He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: Adelard hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his painting career. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
