History: She was born in a small mountains village. Elysande was born on a far southern mountains where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Interpreter. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. At some point she was captured by dire rats and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.
