Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Through the years after Heward was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Heward's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: She is mildly Human supremacist, though she does not identify as such. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Katherine was born the youngest of three triplets. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and wants to work out more often

Description: This woman is bedraggled and starved. She dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over her head. With wild brown hair. Her amber eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: Aline was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His moppish brown hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep hazel.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: Roland hails from a village terrorized by orcs. His parents enrolled him in a Paladin school at a young age so that he could practice his psionic talents. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and a deep hatred of orcs
