A freak accident while working with his Armorer mother left him crippled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gerald fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: A woman with a calm yet intense air about her, she dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over her head. Her hair is cut close to her head. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Jacoba took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up greataxe and armor she uses now. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. He worked as a nervous Blacksmith and found it very stressful. He tends to his Blacksmith job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To be a Carter again; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
